"Develop a passion for learning and you will never cease to grow."
The foundation was the vision of Rev. Dr. John Wesley Williams Jr. It was established to honor the life and legacy of James "Earl" Washington, a community giant, a spiritual leader, husband, father and grandfather. Brother Washington, as he was affectionately called by Pastor Williams was instrumental in the life and history of Allen Temple Riviera Beach. Brother Earl, as he was known in the community, participated in the development of many young men and women. Dr. Williams wanted something tangible to reflect the love and integrity that Brother Earl demonstrated and the legacy he left behind. The naming of this scholarship foundation is designed to remember a great man, a wonderful family man and an awesome spiritual giant. Each year we will identify and target young men and women from the church and from the community that exemplifies leadership, community involvement, academic excellence and church participation. We're honored to have a foundation that represents such a great man
We would like to thank you in advance for your contribution. You have no idea what it means to us to have your support. Please share our page with your friends and family members, share it with your churches, coworkers and communities. With more people aware of our cause, the more young men and women we can assist as they strive for greatness!
